So I have been meaning to start this blog for a while now, but never got to it. Basically life happened.
I have been in school doing a masters program in E-business and Systems Management in Serbia. I’m pretty sure you’re wondering why Serbia right? Everyone always asks, even Serbians, no one can understand why anyone would want to get an education in Serbia.
One word ‘Scholarship’. I was really bored and under challenged at work so decided to do something about it and I chose development. I applied for a four month paid leave from my job in 2012, to go for an internship in a media education centre in Belgrade, Serbia. During that time, I learnt a lot and also traveled a lot, but it also made my employer understand that I was looking for more, so he told me about the scholarship and I applied. Fortunately and all thanks to God I got the scholarship.
I actually applied straight to the Serbian government through a contact at the embassy and not through Nigeria’s Scholarship Board, which is the regular process, if anyone is interested.
I came here January 2013, and let me tell you it has been an awesome experience, I traveled so much, developed so many useful and think resourceful skills while being here, and I plan to share all of that with you.
My major focus will be on travel and adventures, but will also talk about my other passions. I plan to start with where the traveling all began, from the very beginning, a very good place to start. So it’ll basically be a series of posts, talking about the cities I have visited in each country I have been to, starting from the very first one, sharing pictures and videos and whatever else I can. Unfortunately I don’t have pictures/video record/documentation of all my travels, but will still share stories or whatever adventures I can remember from them.
Currently I’ve visited 26 countries in my life and I am 29years old. I’m hoping to have visited 30 countries by my 30th birthday which is in November (30 by 30), so wish me well. I really intend to achieve this.
I hope you have fun reading/ following this blog. I will try my best to make it as interesting and goofy as I possibly can. (I’m all about the goof)
I think that’s all for the introduction, any questions, suggestions or contributions? Please feel free to contact me. I’m open to it all.
